Jap kar bhaven jaap kara tap kar bhaven dhyan laga;
Ved simrti shashtar parh lai parh deede gaal peaa.
Karam kirya jog sabh hovan poora dharam vi hove tera;
Kul duniyan nun chhad ke bhawein janglan de vich laayen dera.
Kai traan de karam kama ke daan pun kar laal rattan;
Swaas swaas vich simar simar ke karda ja din raat jatan.
Ik ik apna ang kata ke roz havan toon karda ja;
Rakkhi ja nit varat te roze bharne hor vi bharda ja.
Bharh jhokya jo kujh keeta ik rab di je saar nahin;
Kahe avtar naam bin bande kam aauni koi kaar nahi.

Meaning
Here Baba Avtar Singh Ji talks about the energy and time that man puts in to find God, yet he cannot do so.
Man may perform rites and rituals, he may keep reading Holy Scriptures such as Vedas, and he may leave the world and live in forests and meditate. He can also donate diamonds and precious stones or just keep chanting the word of God, he may cut his body parts to sacrifice it or keep fasts regularly. But all the above acts will go waste because man is unaware of God.
Hence, He conveys that it is very essential to know God because only the Divine Name will be of utmost use to man.
